96 Blazer 4wd 2door issues
Hi,
I own a 1996 Chevy Blazer 4wd 2door 4.3L V6 Vortex. I am having multiple problems with my blazer.
My blazer idles rough when in gear but stopped. I have a persistent check engine light. My interior lights, such as my dome lights and the ones on the rearview mirror have completely stopped working. My 4wd module on my dash claims I am in 4HI all the time, even though when we had my uncle check, it is not in 4WD at all...
The heater also does not come on when I turn the fans on, but it does come on after accelerating for a little bit.
Anyone have any idea what is going on? My dad said he thinks it might be an electrical issue...

I think your dad is right. I would suspect multiple ground issues to start with. Check and clean any and all grounds you can find.
Oh, and check your vacuum lines, too, in case that has something to do with your heater issue.

Lets start with the codes that are stored in the PCM! Get the codes read and let us know what the PCM is trying to tell you by illuminating the CEL (check engine light).
From the sounds of it, grounds would not be the only problem.
