Default 96 Blazer encoder motor

I talked to a mechanic and he says I need to replace the encoder motor in my blazer, does anyone out there have directions on how to replace the motor, do I need to remove the drive shaft? Need help please. Thank you

First remove the u-joint on front drive shaft, then pry the driveshaft off it will come easy when pryed but won't if you just try to pull it. Then remove 3 bolts on encoder motor then put on new encoder motor you will have to make sure it's in the right position to line it up. then reinstall bolts slide on driveshaft and reinstall u-joint. It's about a 30 min job.
