Encoder motor

Default Encoder motor

After some testing it appears that my encoder motor is bad. I called napa and they carry one for $155. Has anyone had bad luck with any particular brand. thanx. wnk.

I have heard it called encoder motor, transfer case motor, etc.

Yes it is called an encoder motor and no I haven't tried any aftermarket encoder motors.
