Thanks fore the help. I think I am going to throw in the towel and take it to the trans shop. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Just to close this out. There was a pump in the trans that was not working causing the trouble and damage. Cost $725 in Indiana to buy a junk yard trans and have it put in.
