Default 97 4x4 4l60e torque converter??

ok this happend just after i got my blazer, not sure if its my falt or not. but when i start my blaser and in park i hear a knock and can feel it like where the torque converter is on the transmission housing. then i put it in drive and it kinda slows down and its not as loud. also it feels good when it shifts from 1st to 2nd and then from 2nd to 3rd its a real soft shift same for 3rd to overdrive its soft to might be a normal thing im not sure and when i let off the gas to coast down a hill the trans downshifts making the engine rev up a little like im downshifting a manual trans. its like the torque converter is ingaged and i was pretty sure it should let go when im not giving it gas. anyone know if this is all tied into the same problem and what it might be?

you could have loose convertor bolts, and no your convertor will not let go totally when you coast.

o im not sure why i just thought it would only lock up when the engine is at a higher than idle RPM something i didnt catch when i looked under my blazer untill now is that the bolts going to the motor where lose i tightend what i could but some whers striped old owner said he swaped the motor so im guessing he tighted the heck out of them then with normal driving and a load on them they striped anyways that stoped my knocking noise but i still have a slight vibration..
