Default 97 blazer lt engine/transmission problem?

hello.. new here and looking for help. i just bought a 97 l t 4.3seems to idle fine but as soon as you put it in gear the engine misses and runs like crap. checked fuel pressure and air flow sensor, both are fine has a small nock that you can hear when revving engine. ran codes and nothing came back. bought from about 100 miles away and drove all the way home. decent oil pressure and running cool. as you accelerate the truck kinda jerks not hard but steady. it will get up to speed but it is a constant jerking rpms are up and down and speedometer is all over as well. the truck died 3 times in the whole 100 miles and fired right back up after about 30 seconds. seems to me like a timing issue but its fine during idle. so thats about ruled out. in park the truck idles fine with a miss about 1-2 min. as soon as youu put it in gear is when the sputtering and wanting to die. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks again... jon

**update** after checking all sensors last 1 to check was the crank sensor. Pulled it out and the top is sheared off with a perfect groove warn in. Put a new 1 on and its a brand new truck. Thanks for all the help..... NOT

there is not a need to be negative. it is not like someone is going to be on here waiting for your post and waiting to answer it. there are days when people just dont get on here and you just have to deal with that. instead of being angry toward a whole lot of FREE help and insight to problems because people dont respond fast enough for you, you should be happy that you fixed your rig.
