Default 97 Blazer Rough Idle and Sluggish on Take Off

Finally got my Blazer running but now it's running into some more issues. I can now get it to start every time I try, if I give it a little gas, obviously not how it should be. When at idle it runs pretty rough, and the engine shakes, this stops when throttle is applied. When in gear and trying to move, it's very sluggish, meaning I have to push the gas pedal down quite a bit before it does anything, and it jerks at first, then drives normal, when coming to a stop, the same issue persists. It lags quite a bit when trying to take off. I also noticed a small fuel leak, it's on the drivers side about a foot away from the fuel filter (towards the front) but not under or near the engine. I'm still trying to find where the leak is coming from, it's dripping off the frame and is up somewhere further. The previous owner installed a new gas tank, do you think they installed it wrong? Or is it possible that my pump is going bad?? Thanks for any insight that you guys have to offer.

It sounds a lot like an EGR valve that is stuck open. You definately need to look into the fuel leak though.

Hmm, that's what I was thinking. My Blazer wouldn't start, I took my EGR valve off and cleaned it, then it started after a couple attempts. So maybe I just need to get a new one completely. And yes, the gas leak just recently started. I'm going to get under the car with a flash light later tonight and see I can figure out exactly where it's coming from. I'm assuming it's a rusted gas line.
