I have the pump manufacturer sending me a new pump but I did a voltage drop test and on the +side I had 12 volts with a drop of 1.3volts I believe the ground tested really good too but can't remember the exact digits

 

That's a problem, and most likely that's what's causing the pumps to fail. Voltage drop should be no more than .5 volts. Do a search on Youtube, "Voltage drop testing" there are some good videos.

 

I did. from "schroders box" he said on the + side of the pump should NOT be less then .5 volts the blazer he did was .44v drop and it was a bad pump but maybe he wasn't doing it right idk. I've serched plenty of youtube videos and a lot on replacing them but not testing them

 

Sorry I re watched the video and I understand I have an electrical issue. Not a pump problem. Where do I go from here

 

Trace the grey wire forward from the pump module connector, locate & repair the poor connection.

 

I guess I could unhook the battery and ohm the wire starting at the end and move inward to find my resistance problem? And THANK YOU for all your knowledge and time. It means a lot to me

 

In post #10, the resistance is within spec, but that's without a load on the circuit. Resistance is different when the circuit is under a load, you verified that when you did the voltage drop test. BTW, good job, that was going to be the next step

 

By ohming I ment on the grey wire to find my bad connection. With no power applied I should find an area with larger resistance on the wire being a bad spot correct? Also you think it might be a relay starting to go bad perhaps?

 

If you probe the wire on each side of each connector, all the way to the relay, and then from the relay power terminal to battery power, you should be able to locate it. You'll need the ohm meter range to be on the most sensitive setting. Could be a dirty contact in the fuel pump relay too.

EDIT: Before you get too involved, you might want to run a new ground from the module connector. At the module harness connector, jumper both black wires together and solder a 14 gauge wire to them. Run the other end to a good clean body ground and check voltage drop again.
