Default 97 wont start, tried everything I can think of. NEED HELP!!

Hi, I have a 97 blazer, 2 door, 4wd, 4.3L,
The fuel pump went bad last april, so we replaced it and it worked just fin until the car stopped in december. we've changed the spider injector, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap. the car is getting spark just fine and you can hear the pump come on all the way at the front of the car. it is loud. car has not been working for about 4 months now. NEED HELP!!! ANy ideas???

If you're getting spark to all the cylinders try working through the steps in 96+ Fuel System Diagnosis and see if it helps you.

yea my guess is that the fuel pump is coming on, But not with the right amount of fuel pressure,or your firing order on the plug wires got mixed up some how, or you got a faulty spider injecter setup

We checked the pressure with a pressure gage we rented from autozone, and it is getting no pressure to the fuel rail, could it be something in the electrical system telling the fuel pump not to send the fuel? or something wrong with the lines?

To solve the issue you're going to need to work through all the steps in the link I provided above.

seems like a dumb question but did you install the fuel filter in the right direction?

yea for his year blazer there is only 1 way to install it, a theaded line on 1 side of the fuel filter, then a quick release on the other side, i know on my 96 blazer u can indeed install it backwards because both sides of the fuel filter are a threaded line no quick realease clip
