Default 98 blazer lower intake antifreeze leak

About a year ago I had my lower intake gasket replaced with a 9002t from felpro (the metal framed kind). A few weeks later, the bearings in the bottom end start going bad and I completely lose oil pressure once the motor gets up to temp. I replaced this motor with a 2002 with no EGR, so it still has the intake from the original motor. Now once again, my lower intake is leaking on the passenger side even with this new, "improved" gasket. Dont really want to replace it again because I'm afraid of the bearings going bad...again. Suggestions?

Sounds like things either were not torqued down properly or there is corrosion damage to your lower intake manifold. You may want to try finding another LIM and be meticulous when you replace them.

No RTV except for at the very bottom corners where the gaskets meet the block rails.

false alarm. I checked it out again today when i had some more light and it was a leaky heater hose making it appear that there was a leak along the LIM seal
