98 Blazer New motor but will not start
I have a 98 Blazer with new motor, computer(flashed by dealer),plugs and wires, inigtion module, crank shaft sensor, spider injector, coil, security key housing system ,and fuel pump and will not start! Computer gives code p1336 crankshaft sensor not learned. This was my last attempt to save this vehicle ,I bought this vehicle when my son was born, would love to keep it since its hold value to me. Any suggestions ive ran out

The crankshaft position sensor is located at the front of the engine passenger side, the clamp bolt should be an 8mm, pull it and pull the connector off, take an ohm meter and probe all the terminals, one set should give a resistance reading of 800-1200 ohms, I don't remember which pair it is. One wire should give 12 volts, and one should ground If I remember correctly. You can also call the dealership that flashed it and tell them what its doing and see what they say. You may just need to change the crank sensor, could be the v8 sensor installed and sending a different pattern. Or they flashed it to run as a v8 rather than a v6. They use the same computer and just have to be programed as to what engine they run.

The computer was flashed in when the orginal motor was in the blazer , it never ran after I got the new computer I am back to they didnt flash the computer right going to take it wed to get the computer flashed once again lets hope it runs ... Im thinking it lays in between the computer or the new spider which is the reason I bought the new motor .
