Need help with a 1997 Blazer LT with a V6 Vortec Engine. Two weeks ago, was driving it an the check engine light came on. Ran fine to go home, but would not start after sitting all night. Checked it with no error code shown, and light went away after dumping in a bottle of engine cleaner. It would start when I would turn the ignition back and forth to prime the pump, but not it will not even do that. Still will not start without priming it, but the fuel pressure was stable at 50. Anyone have any ideas or similar stories?

Any advice what might be wrong or where to go from here?

 

your fuel pressure is low. read this over and see if it helps you out
