Default 98 Blazer overheated...now won't start

I have a 1998 Blazer was driving down the road and it ran hot and cut off. Parked it and now it won't start. So far I've checked and I have fuel to the motor and I have spark at the plugs. The volt meter is at 14 and I have plenty of gas in it. I drained a little oil and it's not milky, so I dont think I blew a head gasket from running hot. What else should I check? Would that have spun the timing chain? Is there something with the computer that I have to reset? The motor turns over fine it just will not crank. Any help would be huge, thanks.

BTW this is a bone stock 2wd Blazer no power windows, locks, or keyless entry. It used to be a DOT vehicle.

I tried unhooking the negative side and waited 5 min then hooked it back up and nothing. Should I just unhook the whole thing?

I would test the actual pressure at the engine per the 96+ Fuel System Diagnosis link in my signature. Your engine needs >55psi to start and it should hold pressure above 50psi for quite a while after turning the key off.
