I have a 98 chevy blazer that up until 2 weeks ago gave us no trouble. All of a sudden it started to stall out while driving and then not starting at times. It wouldn't start for 2 days and then all of sudden start right up.
Took it to mechanic, he put a pressure gauge on the fuel pump which he said was fine, only code on the computer referred to the crank sensor which was changed, then the car stopped starting all together. Mechanic changed out the Distributor and the car started. Stalled out once while he had it (he drove it around for 2 days).
We got it back yesterday and my husband went to drive it today and it stalled again, but started back up. We dont have a problem when the weather is cool out, seems to occurr more often in the high heat we have been having in the north east.
Anyone have any ideas?
