Default 98 jimmy barely moves in 4wd

Ok my truck works 100% in 2 hi the problem is when i shift into 4hi or 4lo it feels like the trans is slipping and i get no power to front or rear wheels. When i push the 4hi or lo i can hear the transfer case engage and i can tell the truck is indeed in 4wd. If i put the truck back to 2hi it runs perfect, shift points are right on and it shifts well with no slipping. Recently i noticed that when i push the button for 4hi the light for 4hi and lo light up. Please help.

Im not sure exactly but im thinking that you could possible have two different ring and pinion ratios in your axles, which would make it wanna push itself together basically, and would be very stressful on your drivetrain. Either that or something is seized or broken.
