Question 98 jimmy cracked flywheel?

The problem i am having is really best compared to the sound of a woodpecker, When my truck "1998 gmc jimmy 4x4 4door" starts for the first few seconds it sounds fine, But then starts sounding like a woodpecker is in my bellhousing so i tell myself the torque converter bolts are probly loose i just put the motor in a few months ago. I put my truck on my lift at work, Pull the starter and the cover in front of the starter spin the flywheel sure enough 2 of the 3 bolts need a turn tight, Then i put the starter back in fire it up the noise is still there. I inspected the flywheel the best i could thru the hole in the bellhousing i can not see a crack, But could it still be cracked any thoughts thanks ahead of time
