Default 99 Blazer 4x4 - Won't move in any Gear? Trans Pump

Hi All,

Blazer wont move in any gear. Will stay still when in park, and free when in neutral. Shop inspection shows the trans pump not pumping or other internal issue. Where is the pump located? Do at home job? Anything else to look for?

Appreciation in advance,

jon

Transmission has to be removed. The pump is behind the torque converter. It can be done at home if you really want to. There are places online that sell just the pump but I don't know if they are complete, so they might need rebuilt anyway. However if it's another internal issue you'd have to do a complete teardown and be looking for even the smallest issue. So unless you have an idea of what you were doing you are going to need to know how to rebuild one of these transmissions.
