Yes you do have to be careful and if you’re not comfortable with it then don’t use a flammable substance but unfortunately it’s the best way to find a vacuum leak because when the engine brings in the flammable material the rpm goes up
One way to reduce your risk while using flammable liquids is to first mist the entire ignition system in the dark with water while the truck is idling and look for arcing, you can also hear it sometimes to rule that out first.

I tried your recommendation of spraying, i used brake clean and yes it was flammable.
I came up with absolutely nothing I Sprayed left to right high to low nothing it was running alright the past couple of days
the trims would spike then return to around 12.5 to 14ish and the exhaust didn't smell so rich because yesterday morning i put some RTV on the vacuum lines and they came down however i messed with the system again today and its 25%+ again i changed some grommets for the PCV valve and the tube that goes into the valve cover on the other side because they were super loose "like throwing a Hotdog down a hallway" the ones from the parts car are tight
another thing there is a tube that goes from the drivers side header then goes around the EGR valve i'm assuming that's the EGR system
I sprayed when i was done and i got nothing
this thing is a trip and I am getting fed up with it

So what did you mess with that caused the trims to shoot back up?
Check the air intake after the MAF including the air horn seal to the top of the throttle body.
Have you looked for an exhaust leak?
Have you done a compression test.

good evening everyone its been a little while since I last updated you
I believe that i found the region of the vacuum leak
I think that its on the front of the drivers side valve cover or near that area i sprayed wd40 on it made a sucking sound if you know what i mean
and there is a well defined hiss in that region
trying to add a video but its not letting me ill keep trying
