Hi, I just bought this 99 trailblazer it was in a minor accident but had to replace oilpan and motor mounts. But now it doesn't shift out of first, unless I put it in second, then it stays in second. Also the speedometer doesn't work. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

I would bet your two issues are tied together. The VSS sensor is used to control both the speedometer and shifting. It will be on the tail housing of the transmission (2wd) or transfer case (4wd).
