just finished rebuilding a 99 zr2 and got it back on the road everything seems solid on the rebuild no strange leaks or issues.. the truck has been down for two years.. but has been having weird tranny issues seems to not want in-gauge until it warmed up especially reverse once its warmed up its fine but after driving it for a while i do have a small fluid leak coming from inside my bell housing by the torque convert. im assuming its a bad front seal it feels as though the tranny just is not getting enough pressure to shift when its cold.
how hard is that seal to replace ? and will the slip go away if i replace the seal or does that meen the tranny is toast at this point
