Default 4.3L Help (From Manual Tranny To Automatic)

I picked up a nice 67K mile motor out of a wrecked truck. It was a stick.

I removed the flywheel and have mine but the guy I got it from told me I would need to remove the "Pilot Pin/Pen" I have no idea what hes talking about.

Can someone direct me, advise me or point me in the direction. Thanks

It is the bushing/bearing that is in the center of the crank at the rear.

The best way I have found to remove these is to find a bolt that fits into the hole in the center of the bushing/bearing. Then fill the cavity with grease. Use a hammer to push the bolt into the hole. This will pressurize the cavity and force the bushing/bearing out.

Thanks,

I done some research around and found out what it was but was still stuck on how to remove it. I will try this. Thanks
