I’m about to buy a 2003 Chevy trailblazer LTZ sport 4 door the guy said he put a new transmission from another blazer the blazer he has is a v6 but he is telling me he found a wrecked v8 and put it in this one is that even possible?

 

The S10 based Blazers never came with V8s, but people have done swaps to add V8s.

 

It is very possible. I keep waiting for my 4.3 V6 to give up the ghost as I have a 5.3 V8 just waiting to be dropped in. One of these days...

 

If we are talking about the GMT360/370 platform Trailblazer, then there was a 5.3L V8 option available.
