Default After head gasket replaced can hear gas running into engine

I just spent over $1100.00 to have the engine pulled out of my 2002 blazer to be machined so a head gasket would fit right. Now when I start it and run it I can hear a noise under the dash area that sounds like fluid running or something. It is very loud and after spending that much money I am pretty upset. The NAPA Mechanic says it is fuel running thru the fuel line into the motor...is that correct?

I was told to drive it over the weekend and bring it back and they would search out the problem if I could not stand the noise, but it was no big deal, but I wanted to post on here first so I can have some idea of what it is before I do that....I am a female so I have no idea what this could be or if he is being honest with me about it being no concern only noisey.

It never made any noise before I took it in.

Thanks guys...

Vicki

The only fluid that is under the dash is for the heater. I would try and run the heat for a while see if the noise changes or goes away. If not im sorry I dunno what it could be.

At least they didn't tell you to turn up the radio or something.
