Default Antifreeze

(Haven’t found any related posts)

Should I be running full strength coolant? In a previous post I had an overheating concern and it’s still happening. But I have no leaks at all, no blockages, new pump, new T Stat,.

i currently have full strength Dex in it and wondering if that may be the issue

Why are you running full strength antifreeze?

...Are you the guy who said he was using 100% water?

no idea who that guy is....I’ve never ran 100% water...

and it’s not that I chose to go full strength, it’s just that I have a never ending supply of full strength so that’s all I’ve been putting in...I’ve never really given it much thought.

“needs coolant top off? Cool there’s a bottle of dex right here so in it goes”

You need to run 50/50. If that doesn't fix things, look at the simple stuff first. Start with the the thermostat.
