I have a 1985 Blazer w/ the 6.2L Diesel and the thm700r4 tranny. trying to figure out what the id code for the tranny is. The id# is 5T8009A. I know that the 5 is 1985 and the 009A is 9th day of the year and first shift production but the T8 part is messing with me because everything i can find about the id numbers is T1-T7 and T9+ but T8 is skipped over. anyone got any idea what the T8 is on my 700r4?
