I've got the 4 button 4wd system, whenever I'm in 2hi I push the auto4wd button and it switches no problem...

Whenever I try to switch back it just doesn't or switches to 4hi when I'm pushing the 2hi button. So I've been stuck in auto4wd since friday.

Is that a problem with the switches or the vaccum line like I hear about a lot in the forums?

My "service 4wd" light is on, but nothing popped up on the code scanner.

A generic OBD2 code reader will not be able to access the TCCM. This is a serial bus component and needs an enhanced scanner to read.

Search for "NV236" for other threads discussing the diagnosis of your transfer case troubles.
