Blazer runs rough when cold
Hello everyone. I have a 95 Blazer LT, and when the temperature drops below 50 F (10 C), my engine idols rough and it gets worse when it's colder. But when the temp is above 50, it runs smoothly. Could this be because the sensors on the air intake are dirty? I thought the butterfly valve on the throttle body might have been sticking but it's clean as clean can be. I just replaced the spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter and the oil filter. Anyone else have the same problem? Thanks for your help.
It is possible that the IAC valve in the throttle body is getting hung up, prohibiting it from managing the air flow for idle at lower temps. This can be removed and cleaned.
