A/C Delete?

You can buy an a/c bypass pulley from Ebay or Autozone for about 35 bucks U.S. I would think Canada Tire would have something similar.

So what exactly does the a/c bypass pulley do that is different from what i mentioned? or is it just a faster way?

the by-pass pulley replaces the compressor. it basically replaces (and relocates) the idler pulley.

you simply can't remove the A/C compressor, you need something for the belt to run around.

Here is a link to an Ebay ad and a link to a youtube vid of how to remove the compressor and replace it with the bypass pulley. The vid shows a front drive GM car, but it's the same idea. Very easy and professional looking.
