Default Cam and crank correlation???

Has anybody actually found a fix for this code?? I've read to many different ideas on the cause, and fix for this. I have a 2001 4 door, 2wd with the 4.3. Trucks runs good other than the stupid evap ****. I'm going to just delete it all and have it tuned to do away with it. Any fixes on the crank and cam correlation??? Please help. That's all that's stopping me from getting the truck inspected

Don't automatically jump to step #3 in the table (see attachment). That is not going to be where you find or fix the problem. It will be starting with step #4. Going to need a scanner capable of reading cam sensor retard.

Read everything here before starting. Worn distributor gears and/or getting the distributor back in a tooth off (after removal for whatever reason) are common causes.

p.s. having the EVAP stuff present and working is typically part of the emissions inspection.
