Can I use a 89 block in my 99?
I have a 99 Silverado that has 350K miles and rod knock. The previous owner started to tear the motor apart and I know some bolts are missing. Not sure what else is missing though.
Anyway... Can I use a complete 89ish motor from a van in my Silverado? If not can I atleast swap the block? I can get this motor for about $100 and if I can do something with it that would be great. If not I'll keep looking.
