Default Can you identify this part? Transfer case front output

Finally finishing up my transfer case rebuild on my np236. When I removed the front seal to replace, this little ring crumbled. I haven't been able to identify this, or even figure out what it does. Would anybody happen to know what it's called or a part number so I can replace it. Or should I not even worry about it?
I found this picture on here that shows the ring nicely and it's location.

This is one of the better sites for exploded parts diagrams. You can't order parts but you can get the part number.

Here is the link to the page with what could be your part. https://nemigaparts.com/cat_spares/e...t/04/tx04-285/

Here is the link for all the chevy parts: https://nemigaparts.com/cat_spares/epc/chevrolet/

That’s a dust/water wiper. I don’t think you can buy one. Not 100% sure, if another member has that information and would care to share it would be appreciated. What I have been using for years it this waterproof grease . Put a dob of grease on the end of stub shaft.

Default Links to nemiga parts are dead

Most of the Blazer/jimmy links on the nemiga parts catalog are down. Anybody have a better expanded parts catalogue?

Most of the links on the nemiga website for blazers/jimmys don’t work. I’ve emailed the site. Hopefully it gets resolved. You know they are from Belarus?! What’s with that?
