Carb or TB cleaner?

Carb or TB cleaner?
hey everyone, just wondering what you people use to clean your throttlebody?
Just asking because I bought a can of motomaster carb cleaner not really knowing if it was ok to use on a TB.
I read that it may, or may not destroy a certain coating that lines the TB
I tried a little yesterday, but i did it totally wrong lol. with the engine off i sprayed a little in to eat away at the ring around the blade, let it soak for a bit then tried starting it. To say the least it didnt want to stay started, then when i finally got it to stay running it gunned it to 3k rpm and held it by itself lol so i shut it down and restarted it and it was fine
but anyway, know i know to have it started before spraying any in there.
so anyway, is it ok to use on TB's?

If you are cleaning it on the engine, the cleaner should state that it is sensor safe. Some cleaners can waste an O2 sensor pretty quickly.
I use CRC brand cleaning products.
