Sorry, not buying that the problem was that the intake was "getting too much air". Did you ever get you codes read? You can get it done for free at your closest Autozone or Advance Auto.

Well then. Hope it stays off for you. You can still get the codes read provided that you did not disconnect the battery as they will stay in memory as history codes even after the CEL has been turned off.
