Default Chevy Blazer 4x4 - stuck oil pan

My autistic brother, A., is a new mechanic, and he recently bought a 2000 Chevy Blazer 4x4. I registered an account on this forum to post the following on his behalf. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as he has tried everything he can think of to remove the stuck oil pan (he needs to remove it and replace it, as it has a crack in it):

my engine oil pan wont come out i took out all the bolts there were 9 bolts holding it down 3 bolts on the bottom of the bell housing and 2 grommets with 2 nuts and i pulled them out and the pan went halfway down and wont come out nothing in the service manual google or youtube nothing anywhere i dont know how to get it out

Thank you!

It's probably hanging up on the oil pump pickup. He might be able to reach in there and unbolt the oil pump to remove it, but it won't be possible to reassemble it that way. The only real solution is to lift up the engine for clearance.

If it's a 4x4, front differential/axle is also in the way. But I don't see it in the photos.
