Default Clutch master cylinder issues 99 blazer

Ok guys I got a 99 blazer stock 5 speed 4wd with a 4.3 and I am having issues I just recently did an engine swap and in the process my slave went bad from sitting so long and so I replaced my slave cylinder then the line was chewed up at the quick connect and failed so I replaced that and removed the master cylinder in process well the plastic bushing that locks in the firewall was bad so I replaced that because it wouldn't lock in the fire wall so changed all that got it bled and it ran great for a month now the master cylinder pushed through the firewall and won't stay locked in stupidest design I ever seen but I am thinking about removing the stock master cylinder and replacing it with a different design that bolts to the fire wall instead has anyone had this issue can I fix it easily bleeding the clutch is a royal pain and I would rather not if I don't have too also if there's a easy replacement to a bolt on type that works any help would be appreciated
