One thing you need to make sure your engine oil and trans oil lines have is the plastic retainer that fits over the top of your spring clips that hold the line in. If they are missing the spring clip can pop out and let the line blow out of the connector.

The tranny shop is your main trouble here. I was getting 1860 code and bought a rebuilt valve body off ebay for $139.00. This was a nice upgrade! You can connect both oil lines together with hose and clamps until you can get fittings.

Bumping kind of an old thread here but did this fix your issue? I was getting an 1870 code, replaced the tcc valve with one of the teckpak 1 piece units that convert it to on/off. Worked about a week then I started getting a 1860 code (1870 is gone). I ordered a rebuilt valve body with solenoids from ebay along with a wiring harness. Waiting on the harness to put in the valve body. I tried just swapping the tcc solenoid, worked about 15 miles with tcc lockup then the code came on again. I can clear the code and it comes on as soon as I start the truck up pretty much now.
