I have an 03 blazer 4.3 L V6 and I did a scan on it and came back with cylinder 3 misfire and injector circuit malfunction my question is do i need to change the injector or the wiring? how do I test it?? Also does the 03 blazer have the spider injector fuel system

You can take your intake off from the throttle body, take a flashlight and open the throttle body. If you see thin black tubes (about size of the washer fluid tubing) then u have the crappy spider injection system. I had a similar problem with my 97, it threw a code of bank 2 running rich and the spider injectors were leaking fuel causing random misfires. I changed the spider injection out with the upgraded real fuel injectors kit along with a new cap and rotor with plugs/wires, and it runs better than it ever has.

Thanks for the replies I got the injector switched out my model did not have the old spider with the poppets so I was able to change the single injector. Now those codes are gone and I am getting a cylinder 2 misfire I put new plugs in wires have about 4k on them and the boots look clean not burnt out or anything dis cap clean contacts look good on cap as well, new rotor also. But I test drive it for about 10 min and I get white smoke coming from my exhaust when I am idling and accelerating, also overheating when I accelerate but not at idle. Took out the #2 plug and my electrode was bent?? Could these be related issues or seperate also checked my oil dipstick and looked like chocolate milk? Think I know what it is but would like some input please
Thanks in advance

you have a blown head gasket or if your lucky a blown lower intake gasket. Chocolate milk oil is coolant mixing in it and is a death sentence for your engine. Stop driving immediately and drain the oil and coolant. Depending on how long this had been going on the damage may already be done. The damaged electrode worries me.

Thanks for the feedback I took out my #2 spark plug after a 5 min test drive and the electrode was fine im assuming it was bent upon removal or install but all symptoms are new I have not been driving it so I am going to tackle it this week and will update accordingly
