Default Code Guys please help

Just had the 1995 Chevrolet Blazer put on a computer at a local shop because it is missing and stumbly. I put on new plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. It sill misses like crazy and dies.

It threw one code. P1406

It's the EGR, probably has some carbon build up in it. I would take it off and clean it out. Use the search to find a how to on how to remove and clean it.

How to you get to the EGR? I could get the bottom right bolt out ( fell down in the engine I will deal with that lol ) but I cant get to the left bolt at all. I tried a socket and ratchet and even a wrench but cant get to it.

I found alot of posts on how to clean it but none on how to get that dang bolt out

I had to get at mine with a swiveling extension, but when you get the gasket grab the one with the screen in it to help prevent this problem from happening down the road. Let us know how everything goes. Goodluck.
