Default Cold start = low power

Hello all,
I have a 2002 Sonoma and after chasing gremlins for the last year I'm at my wits end. I have an odd issue, when cold my truck will idle low to the point that it dies. If you are on the gas everything is great runs like a champ but stop at a stop sign and it will die or just idle so low there is barely enough juice to keep the lights on. Any ideas?

Fuel pump losing pressure in the cold, clogging in the fuel filter.... first things to my mind...
