Default Coolant & Heat

So I flushed my cooling system august 2016, after doing so i had heat. It's now March 2017, a few weeks ago I start up and hear a gurgling sound, okay I need a bit more coolant in the Reserve, so I add about half a jug or less of some 50/50 last week, still had heat....

next thing I know, once it snowed March 10th, no more heat

is it possible that snow got down in the vent under the wipers and is affecting that? Right now im getting air same temp as outside and it is below freezing

I had the same issue cold air/no heat. Heater core was plugged. Bought same diameter hose as heater core hose. flushed using garden hose, reverse flow direction. Starting easy/low flow. after it spit some crap out i turned up the pressure. Use a longer exit hose out of core down to the ground(could get messy) did this last november, heat now blows me out of the truck. Pretty easy, cheap, and quick

yea thats how I flushed it months ago....heat was hot as ever, there's no more of the build up in there....

what I'm saying is, once it snowed is when my heat stopped working....very odd

Think I should take one of the coolant caps off and let it run a bit to let some air bubble out? I actually think less air is in the system, but Im accepting and trying all ideas....

also, the vent door sounds like it could be stuck....thats a good possibility right there

thanks

Okay so i added more coolant because I did have air in the system, and I possibly have to add more

but since doing so, still no change in the cold air. I expected it to atleast get slightly warm...and it kind of did but it got cold immediately

I'm starting to think it might be one of the 3:

Blend door
blend door actuator
temp switch panel

what you guys think?
