Is the forward accumulator piston the same as 1-2 or 3-4? Are they universal ? Or all they all different dimensions?

1-2 and 3-4 accumulators should be aluminum but I'm not 100% sure. 2-3 accumulator is the bottom side of the 2nd gear servo piston.
Going to pinless accumulator pistons would help in the long run but the only time in my very limited transmission rebuilding that I have seen worn out accumulator pistons was on a farm truck with over 300K on the factory transmission. I have done several transmissions that had 150K or less on them and no signs of wear. So, 200K might be a good time to consider change them out.
I wish I knew if the boost valve worked with these new transmissions that have the PWM solonoid. Generally it's faster and easier to just have someone make changes to the line pressure using the appropriate tuning software.
