No, the CMP (camshaft position) sensor is located in the distributor body. The CKP (crankshaft position) sensor is located in the front cover of the engine near the harmonic balancer. It should be at the 7 o'clock position when looking directly at the front of the motor.

oooooo, the elusive harmonic balancer I've heard of it but what exactly is it?

Is it similar to a sky hook? lol

Swartlkk told me a while ago about the crankshaft positionin sensor, and if I remember correctly he told me to take it to the dealer to have done cause once they replace the old sensor they have to run a reader on it to make sure it matches up to the motor. I know im off on that last part but you want to have the dealer do it!

Thank you ,I was looking all over and I found it while I was looking in my book near the camshaft pully. My book doent list it seperatly but you have to remove it before you take off pully.. Thank you for responding
