Default Cruise Control Cable

All,
At this time I do not feel smarter than a fifth grader. I am in the process of changing my intake manifold gasket on my 2000 Blazer due to a coolant leak. I am following an on-line post with pictures of the procedure. I do have a very elementary question. How in the world do you disconnect the cruise control cable for the throttle body? I have been trying to get this loose all day with no luck. Is there a secret I ammissing?

Please help before I damage something.

Thanks in advance

Curt

Default RE: Cruise Control Cable

There is a little plastic c-clip that goes down in from the top of the cruise control cable. Just be careful with the little thing. It has a tendancy to go flying when you take it out.
