Default Definately a 4wd issue

Here a couple of weeks ago I drove the Blazer to Lowe's to pick up some stuff. When I attempted to pull into a parking spot the rig almost woudn't move while turning the wheels. It had that "something's broken" feel. When I came back out after shopping I noticed the 4hi light was lit. I switched it to 2 wd and experienced no issues while driving home. My youngest daughter drives it to work a few times a week and I suspect that it was in 4 hi when she was driving 70+ on the freeway. In the past it would sometimes shift into 4 hi all by itself. Today I took it out for a drive and there were no issues.......until I put it in 4 hi on a side street, at which time it didn't want to make tight turns. It just wanted to stop. What do you think it might be? Is it ok to still drive in 2 wd?

When in 4wd on pavement, it will feel like it doesn't want to turn because of the binding of the tires on the pavement.

I once had a bad transfer case control module (tccm) that caused the 4wd system to lock up.

A great description of what I'm observing.

Do you think the tccm is my problem?
