Default Direction of Rotation

2002 Blazer 4WD, 4.3L Sorry, I forgot to look before I started the tear down. After looking at my "Trailblazer" which rotates CCW when standing in front, looking back, I am assuming my "Blazer" is the same. I want to turn the crankshaft by hand with a wrench to bring it to Top Dead Center before I remove the distributor? Please tell me if this is right. Also, if this is proper, the pulley bolt is surely left hand threads?

Default Cockwise

I found out myself. Had to remove the fan assembly to get to the crankshaft pulley. I started by turning it Clockwise while facing it. I watched the distributor rotate Clockwise also. Now I'm ready to remove the distributor, then the lower intake manifold, then the RH head to inspect the #4 cyl valves. I will probably be back.
