distributor removal
what is the best way to remove the bolt that holds the distributor in i tried a couple things but that bolt is in just a weird spot any suggestions would be great

Some details about your truck would help.
I use a ratcheting wrench with a slight offset. The TBI and SCFI motors are fairly straight forward. On the SCFI motors, I remove the ICM and coil to get better access. The CPI motor can be a challenge though. Remove anything that you can from the area around the distributor to allow for better access. Hopefully you are good at working without being able to see what you are doing.

i have a 96 blazer ls im not sure what motor i have i just bought the truck a week ago so i dont no much about these

A 96 is the SCFI motor.

I was just working with this on Wednesday and I didn't have too much trouble using a crows foot wrench on a CPI motor.
Not too bad to access it from the passanger side of the engine.

yea i just learned of these crow feet so i have to pick one up i i think it will make it alot easier to get to
