Default 98 Blazer, won't start, need help

Hello everyone,

I have a '98 Blazer 4x4 4.3L V-6 with 168,000 miles on it. Just recently I parked it in the driveway and left it sit for two days. Now it won't start. I am somewhat mechanically capable, but about to give up on this.

What I've done so far:
-replaced spark plugs
-pressed in on fuel pressure test port, receiving fuel
-fuel pump is running
-jumped it
-pulled the following codes: P0300 (Random/Multiple cylinder misfire); P0420 Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1); P0442 EVAP Emission Control System Leak (small)
-coil is giving spark

I want to take the battery to get tested yet, pull off distributor cap and check rotor. Are there any other ideas? I can't figure out what to fix next and I'd really like to fix this without the help of a shop (don't have a lot of money)

Please help!

Just having fuel at the test port literally means nothing in these you really need a pressure test pay special attention to how fast the pressure drops off after the pump turns off (with key on but not running)

Ok, thanks. I kind of figured I would have to bite the bullet and buy one to test. I'll get on that soon.

Let us know what the pressure readings are. What is important is Key-on/pump-running, key-on/pump-running/engine-cranking, key-off/pump-off.

Went out and bought a fuel pressure tester. I went to Auto Zone though to test the battery and buy a new distributor cap and rotor. The battery was good. So, before it got dark I put in the new distributor cap and rotor and it started up just fine. Guess that was the problem all along.

Now there is a new slight problem and annoyance. For some reason the speedometer is stuck at 100 while the vehicle is on or off. Any idea on how I can fix this problem, or what might be causing it to be stuck?

Thanks!
