Default Distributor Rotor Removal

I have a 1994 S10 Blazer with a 4.3L V6 CPFI (W engine code).

I am trying to finish up my tuneup. I have the distributor cap off and I am trying to remove the rotor. It is very corroded and needs to be changed.

How do I get the rotor off? It says in my manual that there are 2 screws holding it, but I don't see anything on the new rotor. To me it looks like the rotor just pops on and off, but I can't get it to pop off. I am trying not to be too forceful though, in case I break anything.

Any tips, hints or suggestions?

Is this your distributor?

If so the rotor just slides off the top.

Yes, it just pulls off. No screws on a '94.

If the distributor shaft is at all rusty, it can be one heckuva pull to get it off, though.
