DIY trans rebuild gone bad HELP 700r4
well after reading, watching videos, and doing all my own work on my cars for 35 years i decided to build my own trany. Well opps i did somthing wrong and hope you guys can help. money being tight and my wife being laid off cause of the world today. i tryed it myself. ive got a 92 blazer 4x4 350 700r4. bought the complet kit. and i mean complete. followed the book to the tee. but i did somthing wronge. got all put back together and started the blazer. let it warm up in neutral and it was full of fluid. and went to put it in rev and it acted just like you were short on trany fluid. it would barely move backward. same in drive or any other gear. now hears the kicker. it was in drive and it started to move slowly and all of asudded i heard a pop and now it pulls great but it stuck in drive in every gear including rev. no matter were i put the shifter its in drive. and pulls strong. and i think but not sure that its stuck in low. what poped and what did i do wronge and how can i fix it. and what should i check. thanks all for your help. and hope you can help.

Thanks for thinking of me wolfpack. :beer2
Not a tranny expert, just a guy who has rebuilt several of my trannies. Remember there is another part inside the trottle valve, it could be stuck and the rest of the trottle valve will move. Only way to find out for sure if it is stuck is to remove the valve body. While you have the valve body off, check all your accumulator springs, make sure they aren't broken(could be the pop).
