I have an 1985 K5 blazer. I am in the process of changing the valve cover gaskets and noticed the valve covers say GM Goodrich 350 on them and it has an Edelbrock carb. Is this the stock 350 it came with or is this a crate engine. After taking the valve covers off, the heads look pretty clean. Can someone help. Thanks

Unless someone swapped over the valve covers onto your original engine, it likely is a replacement motor.

Are there any numbers on the engine I could check to see if it is a crate engine? Did stock 350's come with the Edelbrock carb? Thanks

Stock 350s would have come with a Rochester Quadra-Jet, more then likely somebody changed that as well to the Edelbrock just for a better quality.

There is a pad on the passenger side of the engine just in front of the head, Might have to remove the alt to see it good, but there should be some numbers and letters on that, Let me know what they are .

I did some researching on the head #'s and found that it is a crate motor. Goodrich Gen 1 base 350 from 1990-up, and someone must have put the Edelbrock quadrajet on it as well when swapped because they do not make those carbs anymore. Thanks for the help.
